Hi,

I'm a new user from Spain, Madrid (sorry if my english it's not good enought) Wink

I've registed in this useful site, and I've received the email with my uname and password, but when I try to login (I type my userid, password and the security code) it happens nothing, no message about problems in login (error in password or something like that), and it appears the screen with the statistics of my user, and status "offline".

After that screen I try to use "TPP Port Scanner", but the system says that I have to login before use it. Which could be the problem? Cookies or something like that? The firewall (ZoneAlarm) I'm using? I don't know...

I'll apreciate any help. Thank you very much.

Salu2 from Madrid

Are you entering the security code during login?

I've been having login problems with this Forum. When I initially signed on several weeks ago I had no problem, and of course I get aboard now with Cookies set with no problem.

However, when I receive notification that I have a reply waiting and click on that e-mail link and subsequently try to login I receive the error message, "Sorry, such file doesn't exist.." Question I then have to go back and use my Bookmarks entry to get aboard.

Which URL did you log in under, and what is the email link you received?

I had a little problem getting back to this Forum to reply, it was a Catch 22 problem. I use Netscape 4.78 for e-mail where I received the e-mail saying you had replied to my querry. I use Mozilla 1.6 for my Internet browser. Of course when I click on the link in my 4.78 e-mail message the 4.78 browser opens, which I seldom use any more and there are no cookies in there for this site.

Thus, when I went to http://computercops.biz/modules.php?nam...510#111510
that was in the e-mail message I wasn't recognized by the forum with no set Cookie from pervious sessions. I tried to logon from there and couldn't, that's the basic problem that prompted the initial help request and the Catch22.

Not only that the top toolbar said I had no new messages so it was almost impossible to find this thread to answer you. It took me about 15 mintues to get to this spot with Mozilla so I could reply to you.

I don't know what to do. Can you contact me by e-mail to help?
Otherwise I'm just floundering around here.

Thanks,
Don
