You don't need to save an avatar to the gallery TMOV. You can upload from your comp. as long as it's the right size etc.

To sort out your avatar,
while in the forums look to the top, left of where it says "You have '?' new messages"
You will see 'Profile'
Click on this and at the bottom of the profile page you can upload an avatar or link to a site where it is, etc
See how you go

thanks, BLAST, I'VE BEEN IN TOUCH WITH PAT BURKE ABOUT MAKING ME AN AVATAR.
he's working on some other stuff right now and will get around to it later .
then we can get a new picture of my border collie up there where i'd like to see her.
