There are some anti-spam programs that operate aking to applications like tmda.net. Translation: if someone sends you email the first time, they receive a reply with a validation link to click in order to be allowed email sending to you.

I've seen many users here at CCSP with such a service that basically prevents them from receiving emails.

Which threads have you subscribed to so I can check.

Thinker thanx paul but i'm afraid you'll have to be more specific. like naming names. the only "anti" programs that i run are norton nav and spybot s&d. as far as i know the only anti-spam program is mailwasherpro 4.0 w/benign and first alert.

my os is windowsxp.

i have faith and am sure you will come up with a solution to this problem. Very Happy

btw how come when i click on "view more emoticons" the window opens behind this page. i kept thinking it didn't work until i closed your site and, lo and behold, there they were sitting on my desktop.

just another little annoyance...

tmda.net is on such program. I'd have to check my emails on the other kinds.

As to the view more emoticons, good point... I'll get that on my list.

paul...i just ran a search and no tmda.net showed up.

i have been trying to remember if i've had this problem with other forums i post on but "old timers" has been setting in rather rapidly of late so i don't remember.

again i leave it in your capable hands...

computer illiterate but i looked at that website

and hate to admit it but didn't understand a thing, which leads me to believe i don't have any programs except b-9 that effect my emails.

b-9 removes suspicious tags, if that applies.
