Now someone from Comcast is confirming it. We're the biggest spammer on the Internet, network engineer Sean Lutner said at a meeting of an antispam working group in Washington, D.C., last week. "

Secure My ISP Network—Please!
By Larry Seltzer

I've argued for several years that ISPs should be doing more to create secure environments for their customers. So I recently approached some major security companies and asked them to imagine that I'm a medium-size ISP interested in providing security services for my users, such as antivirus, spam filtering, perhaps even some intrusion detection or firewalling services. What would they have to offer me?

April 25, 2003

Verizon has vowed to continue its fight to refuse to reveal the identity of one of its punters accused of pirating music, claming the matter could have a "chilling effect" on Internet users.

Its continued stand for online privacy comes as a US judge upheld an earlier decision forcing Verizon to hand over the information. Verizon has 14 days to surrender the data although it is embarking on a last-ditch appeal to try and get the decision blocked.
